Cassidy Dental Associates is proud to operate under a set of “guiding principles” that are familiar to anyone in the St. Joseph’s community: acting with integrity, offering respect, and continuous self-improvement, just to name a few.
And it’s no coincidence—after all, five generations of the Cassidy family have attended SJS. A family of donors, volunteers, and current parents and grandparents, the Cassidys are a pillar in our school community.
Most recently, Cassidy Dental Associates put their values on display through their generous sponsorship of our school picture day.
A Proud Tradition Continues
Lottie Cassidy is the latest member of the family to take up the title of SJS Knight. Lottie began her SJS journey years ago in 2K and is now a proud elementary student. Her grandfather, Dr. James L. Cassidy Jr, graduated from SJS in 1970, while her uncle, Dr. James “Jimmy” L. Cassidy III, graduated in 1999.
Together, Dr. Jimmy and Dr. Cassidy serve our community through their business, Cassidy Dental Associates. To help promote healthy, clean smiles on picture day and beyond, the family brought all students toothbrushes, toys, and other gift bag goodies.
“Seeing the happy children playing with their friends and enjoying the same environment I grew up in makes me smile,” said Dr. Cassidy, who went on to highlight how meaningful it is to see his granddaughter receive an education that he himself is grateful to have had and given his children.
“I’m passing on not just a great education, but a spiritual education that I am grateful to have been given by my parents sending me to SJS.” Dr. Cassidy values the importance of “carrying on the commitment” that his grandparents made to his parents and his own parents made to him, further emphasizing the spiritual significance of what we offer at St. Joseph’s.
“Knowing that they are forming a strong relationship with God is huge to me,” Dr. Cassidy said.
