Students in grades 4 – 6 who receive a 94 or above in all subjects for the quarter will be placed on the quarterly Principal’s List. Students in grades 4 – 6 receiving an 86 or higher in all subjects for the quarter will achieve the quarterly A/B Honor Roll.
Highest Academic Honors: Students who earn a 94 or above in all subjects for each of the grading periods for the year will receive a Highest Academic Honors trophy at the end of the year.
Principal’s Academic Honors: Students with 94 or higher in all subjects for yearly averages, and no D or F as a quarterly average in any subject will receive the Principal’s Academic certificate.
Academic Honors: Students with 86 or higher in all subjects for yearly averages, and no D or F as a quarterly average in any subject, will receive the Academic Honor certificate for the year.
Sixth grade students who achieve a 90th percentile on the Terra Nova in both reading and math OR a 90th percentile on their total Terra Nova score along with a 90 GPA in all academic subject areas for the year receive a special award at graduation.
At the end of the year, a student in each homeroom will be awarded the St. Joseph Citizenship Award. The student will be selected based on their display of good citizenship and following the weekly character traits of the Lifelong Guidelines lessons.
At the end of the year, a student in each homeroom will be awarded the Catherine McAuley Religion Award. The student will be selected based on exemplifying the virtues taught by the Sisters of Mercy.
