A life-long parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and alumna of Mount de Sales Academy, Mrs. Collins began teaching Spanish at St. Joseph’s in 2020. She graduated from Georgia College and State University with a degree in foreign languages. After graduation she moved to Germany to pursue higher education in the form of language and culture classes at a German university. She lived and worked in Germany and France, then moved back home to Macon where she met her husband, who is a firefighter. Mrs. Collins has experience teaching and tutoring French, Spanish and German. Passionate about language, culture and learning about the world, she hopes to inspire her SJS students to feel the same way! Outside of teaching language, Mrs. Collins enjoys traveling, spending time with her dog Abel, and working on her master of business degree at Wesleyan College.
